She really understood what I wanted and did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She was so friendly and really helped me feel more relaxed on the morning of the wedding. “As soon as I met Nicola at a Wedding Fair I knew she was the one to do my make up & Hair for my wedding. She understood exactly what I visioned for the Bridal party and listened (rare in the wedding industry lol). She keeps in touch through the run up to the big day, for timings on the day, arranging a trial for Brides Hair and Make up and turns up well on time to get ready on the morning (essential). Nicola settled my nerves (& slight hangover) with her laid back calm attitude which is exactly what I needed. All timings were bang on time for all 5 bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride & Me (Bride) to get on our way. Nicola was so helpful whilst getting dressed, putting my veil on my hair and making sure I looked the part, she was wonderful to have around and apart of the morning.
All makeup used was top quality and knew exactly how to get the hairstyles I wanted perfect on the day. Endless compliments were given to me and my bridal party throughout the day, now looking at photos loved my makeup and hair so much and wouldn’t change a thing. “I booked Nicky to make me, my sister and my mum look the bee’s knees for my wedding last weekend. I also booked a trial the month before, which I would definitely recommend. Even though I decided last-minute to have a different hair style to what we’d discussed, it wasn’t an issue; Nicky just made it happen.
My mum and sister were happy with their hair and makeup, and I received endless compliments on how I looked. My makeup even survived me bawling my way through the ceremony, which is quite something considering how tearful I was!

MY NAME IS NICOLA
Welcome to Nicola Honey Artistry, thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I would like to share a bit about my interests and experience to help you decide if I am the right person to be part of your special day!
I am naturally an artistic person and realised at a very young age that I felt completely happy and content whilst drawing and painting. I love to start with a blank page and watch it grow into something beautiful that I am really proud of.
In my teenage years I took a performing arts class and part of the course was theatrical makeup. I quickly concluded that I had a passion for makeup application and thoroughly enjoyed creating beautiful makeup looks. I knew that if I could have a career using brushes and being creative then that was the job for me!
What I really love about make up is how it can change how you feel about yourself, how it can empower you and improve your self confidence. I absolutely love that I can make someone feel beautiful and confident just by doing what I love to do!!
